950 - JAMES H. PEFLEY (son of No.944) married at Dora, Ind., Aug. 15th, 1852 BARBARA ANN LEEDY, born Nov. 3rd, 1833, died July 15th, 1915. Both are buried at Remington, Ind. They were married by Rev. John B. Leedy. James farmed on part of his father's place near Dora, Ind. The house is still standing. In 1866 he moved to Benton Co., Ind., and purchased a farm 12 miles southeast of Remington. Here he engaged in farming and stock- raising for about 10 years. He sold out in February 1875 and moved to Remington and engaged in the implement business. Here he lived until his death.
