Henry Garst lived near his father on Mason's Creek. Records are from Henry Garst's bible now owned by his son Rev. John H. Garst.
"First owned by Isaac Hershberger, bought from C. Dillard & Co., May 24th 1841. Bought by John Garst, then by Henry Garst and then by Emma Garst Dec. 20th, 1898."
