Thompson - Peffley
Anne and David R. Thompson of Amarillo announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Lea, to Adrian Peffley.
Peffley is the son of Diana Bookbinder of Germantown, Md., and Dennis Peffley of Lee's Summit, Mo.
The couple plan to wed April 23 in Heathrow, Fla.
The bride-elect attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock and is a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.
The prospective groom is a pilot for Delta Connection.

Valerie Lea Thompson
Valerie Lea Thompson and Adrian N. Peffley, both of Sanford, Fla., were married Saturday, April 23, at Heathrow Country Club in Heathrow, Fla. The Rev. John Sorensen officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Anne and David Thompson of Amarillo. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stringfellow of Midland, who attended the wedding, and C.S. Thompson of Canyon.
Groom's parents are Diana Bookbinder of Germantown, Md., and Dennis Peffley of Lee's Summit, Mo. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Yovanovich of Middletown, Pa., and Carl Peffley of Hershey, Pa., all of whom attended the wedding.
Matron of honor was Carli Podzemny of Amarillo. Bridal attendants were Stephanie Thompson, sister of the bride, Hattie Heiner and Lisha Purkeypile. Junior bridesmaid was Jaylynn McClendon of Harrisburg, Pa.
Best man was Paul Williams of Steelton, Pa. Groom's attendants were Micah Williams, cousin of the groom, Rob Nichols and Dan Windmueller.
Ushers were Brian Leinginger and Mike Rosenthal.
The wedding reception was at Heathrow Country Club.
The bride is a graduate of Randall High School and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She is a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.
The groom graduated from Watkins Mills High School in Germantown and attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. He is a pilot for Delta Connections.
The couple planned a honeymoon trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They reside in Sanford.
