PAUL PEFLEY
Paul Pefley, 58, of 120 S. Third Street, died unexpectedly at 2:15 Saturday afternoon at the Chambersburg Hospital of a heart condition. Born April 14, 1907, in Greencastle, he was a son of the late William and Rhuie Lutz Pefley. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Friendship Fire Co. At the time of his death he was employed as a mechanic by Letterkenny Army Depot. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gladys Burkholder Pefley; three sons and a daughter: Paul Pefley, Jr., of 119 Garfield Street; Merle R. and Sheldon L. Pefley, both at home, and Mrs. Charles Costello, of Lanham, Md., and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm at the Barbour funeral home with the Rev. Charles E. Diehl officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening at the funeral home.
