Taylor, Joan Pefley, of natural causes early morning Thursday Oct. 29, 1998 in her home in Coronado. Widow of CAPT Edmund B. (Ted) Taylor, Jr. (USN Academy 1953) and daughter of BGEN and Mrs. Alfred R. Pefley (USN Academy 1925) and VADM and Mrs. Edmund B. ("Whitey") Taylor (USN Academy 1925). A delightful friend who resided the last 30 years in Coronado. Loving mother of Stephen D. Taylor of Crofton, MD, Edmund B. (Ted) Taylor, III of Coronado, Cynthia R. Taylor of Rancho Penasquitos, and Leslie Taylor Hazelwood of San Francisco. Beloved grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Memorial Service 12 noon Thursday 5 Nov. at Bay View Park at 1st. St. and I Ave. in Coronado. Graveside Service and Interment at Arlington National Cemetery 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20th.
