Two Ohioans who allegedly tried to steal some "Star Wars" promotional material had the Force with them -- the city police force, that is.

Shiella Moffett, 49, of Warren, Ohio, and her son, James Zawacki, 31, were arrested early Thursday at a service station after Zawacki allegedly tried to steal two Pepsi-Cola advertising banners featuring characters from ``Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace.''
Patrolman Jeffrey Pefley watched while a car pulled up to the service station, a man got out and allegedly cut down the 6-foot-long banners with a pair of scissors. The man was arrested on a charge of larceny.

Police then searched the car, found a tape recorder and played back a tape on which two people can be heard ``speaking like Yoda,'' according to Pefley.

On the tape, a male voice states, ``We are bandits in the night,'' while a female voice proclaims: ``Yoda is accomplice to burglary. May the police force not be with us.''

Prosecutors were deciding Friday whether to formally charge the pair.
