PEFFLY, Ruth E. Age 84, of Phillipsburg, passed away Friday, February 14, 1997 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor & Jessie Peffly & by a sister, Carrie Beaver. She was a lifetime Phillipsburg resident and was retired from Frigidaire. She is survived by a sister, Alverta Gunn, Pitsburg, OH; nieces, Pam Wheeler, Pitsburg, Debbie Poe, California, Cindy Scarfo, Englewood; nephew, Ralph Beaver, Dayton; numerous great - nieces & great - nephews and many very special neighbors. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Gilbert Fellers Funeral Home, Brookville, with Pastor Alvin Cook officiating. Interment in Arlington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:30 AM until service time.
