One Injured in Alfalfa County Accident

Roger Lewis Peffly, an Amorita man, received injuries Wednesday morning in a collision at the junction of State Highways 8 and 11 in Alfalfa County.
The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m.
Carroll Laveine Brewer, 70, of Edmond, driving a 2005 GMC pickup, failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by Peffly, 58, in the intersection.
Peffly was driving a 1987 Dodge pickup.
Seat belts were equipped and in use in both vehicles.
Kiowa Ambulance transported Peffly to Kiowa District Hospital and then transferred Peffly to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted with head, neck, arm and trunk internal injuries.
As of Wednesday evening, OU Medical Center listed Peffly's condition as good.
Brewer refused treatment at the scene.
OHP Trooper Linda Hartley of the Woods County detachment investigated the accident.
