Richard C. Peffley, 77, of Carlisle, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, in ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle.
Born Aug. 9, 1925, in South Hanover Township, he was the son of the late John H. and Ruth A. (Bell) Peffley.
He was a former fruit farm laborer.
Mr. Peffley is survived by a companion, Lucille Dowd Phillips of Carlisle; a sister, Arlene P. Derr of Hummelstown; a brother, Melvin J., of Hummelstown; and three nieces.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Hanoverdale Cemetery.
Trefz and Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown, is in charge of the arrangements.
