PAULDING, Ohio
A Scott man charged with five counts of corruption of a minor was among 12 people indicted by a Paulding County grand jury last week. Matthew Peffley, 18, is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in indict~ ments filed Friday in Paulding County Common Pleas Court. Peffley is scheduled for arraignment June 3.

Man admits to corruption: A Scott man Thursday admitted to having illegal sex with a 14-year-old girl. Matthew Peffley, 18, pleaded guilty to one count of corruption of a minor in Paulding County Common Pleas Court. Sentencing is set for July 23.
