Maria Retzer, 90, Lancaster resident
Maria A. Retzer, 90, of 1820 Lynwood Avenue, died unexpectedly Sunday at St. Joseph hospital. She had been under a physician's care. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Apostles United Church of Christ. Born in Eden Township, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ora Stauffer Pefflay (sic). She was the wife of the late Virgil K. Meck and Fred J. Retzer. Surviving is a brother, Morris G. Peffley of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Peffley.
