Margaret M. Peffley
LEBANON
Margaret M. Peffley, 77, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, of natural causes at her residence. She was the wife of Richard A. Peffley, to whom she was married for 57 years. Born in Lebanon on October 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Sholly May. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are children Cindy, wife of Phil Ceresini of Florida, Linda, wife of Chuck Schwab of Myerstown, George (Buck), husband of Carol Peffley of Lebanon, Charles, husband of Suzanne Peffley of Lebanon, Mary, wife of Timothy Ponessa of Lititz, Susan, wife of John Bomberger of Lebanon, and Michael, husband of Sara Peffley of Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Bender of Lebanon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sons, John and Richard Peffley. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Monday morning from 9 to 11 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
