JANICE ARLENE PEFFLEY, 53, died Saturday at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a C.N.A. for more than 30 years. Her husband, Richard, died in 1987. Surviving are her mother, Loraine Williams of Hicksville, her companion, Robert Hasenbuhler of Van Wert; three sons, Kenny of Paulding, and Randy and Matthew, both of Ohio City; two daughters, Crystal Stottlemyer and Angie Howard, both of Hagerstown, Md.; four sisters, Deb Jones of Hicksville, Patty Philpot of Sherwood, Cindy Weaver of Fort Wayne and Connie Felker of Hegewisch, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren. Services at 10:30 a.m. EDT (9:30 a.m. Fort Wayne time) Tuesday at Cowan Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Calling an hour before services. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
