566--CIRCLE PEFFLEY (son of No. 551 ) married at Ladoga, Ind., Apr. 23rd, 1854 LUCINDA ROSE, born in Union Co., Ind., Aug. 5th, 1830, died June 5th, 1925 (dau. of ALFRED and MARY (Morrison) ROSE). Both are buried in Stoner Cemetery, east of Ladoga. Circle was a farmer in Mont. Co., Ind. all his life.

Ladoga, August 1

Circle Peffley, aged 81, died at his home three miles east of this place, at eleven this morning, following a prolonged illness with bright's disease. He became worse about a week ago. Mr. Peffley was born in Virginia June 26, 1831, and was the son of Mr. John Peffley. Four brothers, David and Thomas of Ladoga, Joel of Chicago and Frank of Kansas, survive. The deceased was married to Lucinda Rose, April 23, 1854. His wife together with two daughters, Mrs. Al Hirst and Mrs. Marion Cook; both of Ladoga, survive. Arrangements for the funeral services have not been made.
