Services for Charles A. Peffley, 79, of 456 W. Oley St., who died Wednesday afternoon in the Reading Hospital, where he was a patient since Jan. 7, will be arranged by Theo. C. Auman, Inc. Born in Columbia, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Edwin and Maggie (Diehl) Peffley. A member of the Liberty Fire Co., he had been employed by Filbert Sea Food before retiring in 1956. Preceded in death in 1950 by his wife, Ellen C. (Kissinger) Peffley, he is survived by a daughter, Pearl V., wife of Floyd Fischer, Hollywood, Fla., and two brothers Raymond G., Springmont and Ralph, Greenfields.
