Anne Vivian Carter 81, Anne was born August 21, 1925 in Bainbridge, IN to Raymond Peffley and Mary (Clark) Peffley. She retired from St. Francis Hospital. Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William H. Carter. She enjoyed Senior activities at the Boner Community Center. She faithfully attended South Emerson Church of God. Viewing will be at South Emerson Church of God, 3939 S. Emerson Ave., Indianapolis, Tuesday, March 27 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Celebration of her life will be at the church Wednesday, March 26, at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Anne is survived by her beloved church family; stepsister, Mary Alice Barbee of Crawfordsville; Dennis and Elizabeth Smalling and family; and Bonnie Weddle and family. Arrangements entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
