Margaret M. Peffley
Margaret M. Peffley, 77, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005 of natural causes at her residence.
She was the wife of Richard A. Peffley, to whom she was married for 57 years.
Born in Lebanon on October 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Sholly May.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are children, Cindy, wife of Phil Ceresini of Florida, Linda, wife of Chuck Schwab of Myerstown, George (Buck), husband of Carol Peffley of Lebanon, Charles, husband of Suzanne Peffley of Lebanon, Mary, wife of Timothy Ponessa of Lititz, Susan, wife of John Bomberger of Lebanon, and Michael, husband of Sara Peffley of Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Bender of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, John and Richard Peffley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 11 a.m., from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th Street, Lebanon. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Monday morning from 9-11 a.m., at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
