JUNE H. PEFFLEY, 84, died Tuesday at home. Born in Antwerp, she worked at a restaurant in St. Joseph, Mich., for several years. She was past matron of Eastern Stars 787 of Antwerp. Surviving are her husband, Bernard; a stepdaughter, Kelly Peffley of Florida; three sisters, Helen Sleesman of Antwerp, Ruth Overmeyer of Hicksville and Sharlene Carroll of Fort Wayne; and two brothers, Wilford "Bill" Hartman of San Mateo, Calif., and George Hartman of Hicksville. Graveside services at 10 a.m. EDT (9 a.m. Fort Wayne time) Thursday at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp. Calling from 5 to 9 p.m. EDT today at Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with Eagles Auxiliary service at 7 p.m. EDT Memorials to Hospice-The Caring Way of Defiance.
