The graveyard is behind a home on the east side of Rt. 117. From Rt 117, (Peters Creek Rd) take Appleton Ave NW, Take First Right Turn on Dodson Rd, plots are behind the last house on the right at the cul-de-sac, within overgrown area under a large cherry tree.

Little is left here except a Garst stone, placed in about 1952 to replace the original, and a fragment of another, old stone. When the W.P.A. survey was made, there were four stones. A neighbor suggested that other neighbors had taken the stones to use for building.

A restoration and new fence is planned from the Garst 2000 Reunion Funding. Some information here is from Mrs. Solloway and some from Marvin U. Neighbors.

I walked the cemetery and completed this transcription in March of 2000.
