JANET C. DeLONG, 79, of Antwerp, Ohio, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at Paulding County Hospital. Born March 3, 1926, in Antwerp, she was the daughter of Harry and Delia (Peffley) Friend. She married Zeb DeLong on Nov. 13, 1948; he passed away Jan. 6, 2005. She worked at Magnavox and was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary. Surviving are daughters, Lana Peters and Gina Phlipot, both of Antwerp; brothers, Richard and Jim, both of Antwerp; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her er sisters, Betty Humbarger and Clarice Friend; and brothers, Derwood, Robert, Budd Williard and Willis Friend. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with the Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service Monday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association.
