Frank Tillman EVERHART, 70, took his life Saturday morning at 8:30 at his home 2 ½ miles NW of Ladoga. Mr. Everhart, who had been despondent for several weeks, shot himself between the eyes with a rifle while sitting on the porch. He drove a nail into a broom handle with which he pulled the trigger to discharge the rifle. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons of St. Petersburg, Fla; Eugene at home; four daughters, Margaret McCallum; Marie Abbott & Madonna Everhart, all of Crawfordsville and Betty of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Cox Funeral Home with burial in Brethren Church cemetery NW of town.
