Joyce A. Stiely, 78, of 431 N. 11th St., Lebanon, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005, in her home.
She was born November 19, 1927, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Wilbert T. and Anna L. Peffley Blouch. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had served as a judge of elections.
Surviving are daughters Tina E. Detweiler of Lebanon and Ann L., spouse of Stephen Tyler of Belcamp, Maryland; sisters Gladys B. Clay and Elva Jean Blouch both of Elizabethtown; brother Mahlon “Bud” Blouch of Richland; grandchildren Jennifer Detweiler, Toban Tyler, and Tabatha Tyler; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Warren Fred Stiely on Nov. 30, 1985.
Viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 30, 2005, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Christman’s Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, preceded by an Order of the Eastern Star service at 5:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday 1 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ebenezer “Covenant” Cemetery.
